Edward was born at a farm near the Blanchard River in Marion Twp. on SR 568 in Hancock Co., OH. The original Thomas farm was across the river and it pictured in the Historical Atlas of Hancock County, OH, published 1875. The drawing is on p. 109. Ed was the janitor at the Little Red School House on Twp. Rd. 236, now restored, when he was a young man.
Edna resided on a farm to the south in Marion Twp. near where the Findlay Reservoir now is, on Kistler Road. She played the piano at the Bethlehem church on the corner of the road. They were married by Rev. Rush A. Powell. Ed built a home on Center St., Findlay and he worked at the Garwood Insustries and played in their band. I have a picture of the band.
They moved to Eagle Township and farmed there until the l950's when they moved into Findlay and resided on East Lima St. where they both died.
